A large fake but realistic polyphemus moth for your hair or anywhere else you can think! The moth is a handmade textile replica made to look like a real moth. The wings are made from soft velvet-like fabric and the body is made from faux fur. The inside of the wings are wired so they are flexible, poseable and durable.
Every moth is handmade with lots of love, but being handmade they may differ very slightly from moth to moth, this makes every moth one of a kind, unique, and still made to be the very best quality! Colors may vary slightly in person.

If your moth gets dirty, please only hand wash by gently wiping with a damp cloth and using a small drop of soap if necessary. Rinse with cold or warm water only (not hot) and allow it time to air dry. (Do NOT use heat to dry).

This moth is one of my favorites and a dear friend allowed me to wear herโs each day working at the MD Renaissance faire, I knew I had to get one of my own.it was thankfully available (as being handcrafted stock is limited for good reason)and it arrived packaged sweetly and was every bit as enchanting as advertised and quality was off the charts , I got the alligator clip and it works great in my hair and on brim of hat too. 11 stars!

This is my fourth butterfly/moth from here and it is just as gorgeous as the others. It looks so realistic and I love how it almost seems to change color depending on how you look at it. I get so many complements on these!

The realism is amazing. Material used for the wings is perfectly moth-like, with a subtle sheen that is not captured in the photos. Beautiful, high quality item.
